Colleen L. Murphy

Colleen Murphy has focused her practice since 1995 on plaintiff’s personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, wrongful death, product’s liability, premises liability and worker’s compensation. She initially started her career defending insurance companies, hospitals and doctors, but soon realized that she desired to represent the clients that were injured as a result of these accidents, not defending the wrong doer.

Colleen Murphy has compiled a record of staggering accomplishments. Throughout her career, she has been involved in obtaining millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for clients, resolving numerous cases for more than a million dollars each and achieving record-setting results.

• A settlement in excess of 3.1 Million to the Estate of a woman that was misdiagnosed at the University of Chicago Emergency Room.
• A settlement in excess of $2.1 Million to the Estate of a man that received negligent medical care at Rush University Medical Center.
• A settlement in excess of $2.1 Million to the widower of a woman that was killed by a semi- tractor trailer on the Dan Ryan.
• A settlement in excess of 800,000 to a man that suffered a herniated disc after being rear ended on I-88.
• A jury verdict in excess of $500,000.00 to the family of a premature infant that was discharged without proper medication.
